Welcome to BarTab.it (“we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our platform, which allows patrons to browse a bar’s menu, place orders, open and pay tabs, and view order history, as well as providing bar owners with menu management tools, QR code creation, and payment gateway integration.

By accessing or using BarTab.it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Who May Use BarTab.it

BarTab.it is intended for use only by patrons who are physically present in the vicinity of the participating bar and by authorized bar owners and staff managing their bar’s account.

You must comply with all applicable laws and agree not to use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

2. What We Provide

BarTab.it enables you to:

• View a participating bar’s menu and place orders.
• Open, manage, and pay your tab through your preferred payment method.
• View your order and payment history.
• Use voice or chat features to place orders.
• For bar owners: manage menus, generate QR codes, and integrate with your preferred payment gateway.

We do not store or process any credit card information directly; all payments are handled securely by the bar’s chosen payment processor.

3. What You Agree Not to Do

When using BarTab.it, you agree that you will not:

• Attempt to use the service if you are not physically at or near the participating bar.
• Copy, scrape, or harvest any content or data from the platform.
• Spam, abuse, or harass bar staff or other patrons via the platform.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its security.

We do not and will never sell or share your personal information for marketing purposes.

4. Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the updated version will be posted here and take effect immediately.

5. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

BarTab.it is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for the quality of the bar’s food or service, or for errors made by the bar’s staff. We are also not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service beyond the amount you have paid for your current tab.
